兔年伊始，网络上一名网友的愿望是“兔年里，我要做一朵积极的向日葵，给点阳光就能灿烂”，产生了令人向往的“向日葵族”，更有网友随即列出了“向日葵族”的18种性格特征。
除了向日葵族，时下流传较广的族群还包括了“月光族”、“草莓族”、“水蜜桃族”、“啃老族”和“穷忙族”等等。本期《逗号》，就带你一同去看看各大“家族”有哪些，还找来六所学校的学生做调查，看看大部分同学觉得自己最像哪一族！

草莓、水蜜桃、洋葱，你是哪个族？
下回有人这样问你，可别傻傻地以为人家关心你的味蕾，更别以为他是想了解你的背景，滔滔不绝地说自己是华族，父母是上班族，兄弟姐妹是哈韩族，大家是快乐的大家族等等，因为他有兴趣的，大概不是这些传统的族群。
网络和社会的发达，催生了各大与民族兴趣职业毫无关系，而是与个人性格和生活习惯息息相关的族群。信手拈来，可以用在90后的青少年的族群就有“水蜜桃族”、“脑残族”、“洋葱族”、“生白族”和“向日葵族”。各个族群都有自己的性格特征，例如“水蜜桃族”无法承受挫折、“脑残族”喜欢标新立异、“洋葱族”讲话辛辣大胆等。《逗号》找来六所学校的六大班级做调查！
调查结果显示，大部分的同学都认为自己是阳光型向日葵族，占了40％！也有不少同学觉得以上五大族都无法贴切地形容自己，有的甚至另起“族”灶，给自己想了新的名词。康培中三的张伟鑫就在调查问卷中，称自己是“生黑族”，因为他认为自己读书不怎么样，但在家的表现却不错，做家务很在行！
记者找来其他各大“家族”的代表，听听他们怎么说！

向日葵族：
积极、乐观、感恩。善于发现微小幸福，对生活充满热情的阳光天性，没有太大野心，抗压力耐打击。嘴角习惯性上扬15度。

水蜜桃族／生白族／向日葵族代表：蔡至美／国家初院三年级

贪新贪鲜但不脆弱
蔡至美觉得自己介于“水蜜桃族”和“向日葵族”之间，同时也是名副其实的“生白族”和“月光族”。“我喜欢买新衣新鞋新包包，一般看到好看的都会买，到月底钱都花到精光。我没有存钱的习惯，因为觉得没有必要，通常花完了父母都会再给我钱。我也是完全的‘生白’，什么家务都不会做，也不用做，因为妈妈是家庭主妇，家务都由她一手包办。”
但是至美强调，她买东西绝对不是为了炫耀，只是纯粹因为觉得好看、喜欢而买。她家里的衣服，多到衣橱都放不下了，包包和鞋子各有十多件这么多。“不过很多都是我已经不用了！”
她坦言，自己的喜好变换颇快，有时才刚买的东西，回到家就后悔，所以东西堆积如山。
但是幸好她虽然沾染了水蜜桃的贪新贪鲜，却没有水蜜桃的脆弱，反倒具有向日葵的阳光，“我很少会为了什么事特别不开心，对成绩也不会。坦白说，我觉得自己蛮幸福的，没什么事好抱怨。”

改掉挥霍坏习惯
而她正努力改掉挥霍的个性，最近就少买了很多衣服。“我觉得自己应该少花点钱，钱毕竟是父母辛苦赚的，应该省点用。以后自己做工赚钱当然可以多花一点，不过到时我也要学会存钱，因为再不能伸手跟父母要了。”
看至美这么懂事，半生熟的水蜜桃要“转型”为绽放的向日葵，指日可待！

洋葱族：
有话直说，像洋葱一样“呛”，言辞辛辣大胆，有时没有顾及别人感受。

洋葱族代表：珍尼／达善中四

心直口快“呛伤”人
德泰混血儿珍尼觉得“洋葱族”最能够形容自己，因为她心直口快，说话不爱拐弯抹角，有时会得罪人。
珍尼举了两个例子说明。被她“呛”到的，一个是课外活动的长官，另一个是同学。因为不满长官的责骂，她当面反驳了她的指责。“我说她不应该在还没搞清楚真相就随便骂人。她听了显得有点错愕，大概没想到有人敢这样说她吧。哈！”
问她难道不担心长官秋后算账，她笑说当时没想这么多。“不过有时我说了之后会后悔，一次就是因为语气太重，伤了朋友。我那个朋友很哈韩，花很多钱在追星身上，有一次她就跟我投诉她没钱，我听了就冲口而出说‘那你还花这么多钱在你也许这辈子都看不见的人身上？’那次之后，我们的关系变得很别扭，虽然还不至于翻脸，但没以前这么好了。”
珍尼明白，自己的出发点虽然是好的，但或许语气太重了，不是每个人都能接受。她因此正努力改进，希望将自己洋葱的“杀伤力”减到最低！

脑残族：
非主流、让人感到匪夷所思的类型，具有成年人很难理解的古怪爱好。张扬自我个性，标新立异，缺乏团队忠诚感。

脑残族代表：陈嘉惠／立化中四

兴趣另类与众不同
因为兴趣另类，陈嘉惠将自己归类为“脑残族”。她解释，朋友都喜欢韩国文化和明星，自己却酷爱日本动漫和cosplay。她从小三就开始迷上动漫，到了中学开始投入，与其他志同道合的朋友聚在一起，不时还会做cosplay打扮，出席一些活动。
“我是班上唯一喜欢日本动漫的，同学们也觉得我的兴趣很奇怪。有时就会觉得跟同学们没什么共同的话题。”
不过她不认为另类的兴趣有什么问题，“我觉得同学之间，只要学习上能够沟通就行了。
果然有性格！

Ranting

Being the person as I am, I feel like ranting all about Yuya Matsushita here. Maybe I should rant about Kaname☆, instead? Ah! This is so frustrating! They are both my gods! Yuya-sama and Kaname☆-sama, who should I choose? Oh, did you guys know that Kaname☆-sama appeared in the newspaper on Wednesday? I was like, "Kaname☆-sama! It's Kaname☆-sama! Oh my god!". Yeah, that's how my gloomy Wednesday in school became brightened up just like that. *Drools* Aira-sama was featured in the article too! Anyway, the main point is Kaname☆-sama was featured in the article.

Moving on, Yuya-sama's Paradise is just pure awesomeness! I guess the song pretty much summed up all his songs up till now. A bit of everything? I recommend watching the promotional video. I am seriously counting down the days to its release. I won't talk much about it now as I want to have more stuff to rant on when Paradise is released. Haha! Okay, that's the end of my post. Pretty short, right? I can go one page long if I really feel like ranting. So, time to say goodbye for now? See you around then!

Bonne Justice

I just totally remembered that I have more than one French song on my MacBook. I only remember that I have Il Avait Les Mots and nothing else. There is still Bonne Justice! I first encountered it when I was watching Nijuu Mensou No Musume. The lyrics came from the poem, Bonne Justice by the French poet, Eugène Émile Paul Grindel or better known by his pen name, Paul Éluard. I think that the poem is really beautiful. Do you know that the whole plot of Nijuu Mensou No Musume revolves around the fourth state of water, light? It is probably inspired from the poem itself. Don't you think the plot is just lovely? Imagine how cool is that if someone discovered that there is a fourth state of water. There will be a mass burning of textbooks, I presume. I would love to see someone do that. (Shou-chan!)

Saving Money

After attempting to survive on home food in school for one miserable week due to the unappetizing school food and long queue, I managed to save some money! Yay! The bad news is, I spent them all already. Haha! This is so typical of me, I guess.

Moving on, I still don't know how much my Izaya Orihara (Gender Bender Version)'s clothes are going to cost so my budget for my entire cosplay is say $400? Pretty reasonable considering this cosplay is the easiest so far. I expect some leftovers hopefully. The clothes itself should be less than $200, I think. Maybe a bit more. If so, I hope to order by either 15th January 2011 or 22nd January 2011. I shall allocate $50 to buying a pair of stilettos. The rest is for other uses. One of them being my mum just finished my eyeliner and I need to get a new one.

Afterwards, I shall have to ask Grace-senpai to help me get that copy of Yuya Matsushita 1st Artist Book. I think it is probably around $100. Hopefully, I can order by 31st January 2011? I guess I will pay her the shipping fees only when it arrives. (They never specify how heavy the book is. The shipping fees should probably be less than $50.)

By this time, I will probably be freaking out regarding my YesAsia shopping order. Reason being all the items I want are released already. I think it is around $130. My deadline for this is 18th February 2011. (One more day and I will probably die from anxiousness.) If my Izaya Orihara (Gender Bender Version)'s clothes come on time, I guess I will pay for it first and buy the YesAsia stuff by 25th March 2011. (I shall pray for my stuff everyday.) Yes, and I will pay for my stilettos too.

Afterwards, I shall sent in my Taobao shopping order finally! (Thanks to Qian Yi for offering to pay for Bird / 4 Seasons as my birthday present. Is $19.80 too much? Was calculating using the Go Taobao Shopping exchange rate.) Still thinking what to get for Qian Yi's birthday. (I shall allocate $20 for this.) Afterwards, I shall continue this life until my birthday and yay! I should have enough for all the books I want finally. The list of books I am supposed to buy is getting longer. Until then, I shall spend my money wisely, I guess. In case you are wondering what I am getting, most of them are in the wishlist at the side. Feel free to talk to me if you feel like buying any item for my birthday present! (I will love you till the day I die.)

New Year, New Blog

A fresh new year as I start over my blog again. Since this is my first post, I shall introduce myself a bit, though I wonder what is the point and who will read it other than the few readers I know of. (I am seriously curious why you guys stuck with me. Really, I mean what else is here other than my regular ranting and depressing posts on the outlook of life?) Oh well, back to business.

So who am I again? My name is Tan Jia Hui though I really wish it wasn't, considering how many people I know have the same name as me. (One of them is in my class, same surname and all.) I took my first breath on 22nd May 1995 though I can't really remember anything much past my primary school days. Just some occasional bits and pieces which I can't make head or tail of. I currently attend River Valley High School after this stroke of luck or unluckiness in my Primary School Leaving Examination, although it didn't stay with me and I am now probably the student with the lowest grades in my level. (So far, nobody scored lower than me so it should be safe to assume so, no?)

When it comes to anime, this girl here is a huge fanatic though she is attempting to live her life with minimum influence from her favorite world after her super bad results last year. (Probably wouldn't last even a day as anime is her life.) She is a cosplayer who is currently on hiatus though she is planning for a shoot this year. She lives her life as an otaku who prefer to stay in her world with minimum disturbances, especially when she is watching her anime. Oh and add the fact that she has a thing for megane and neko. (Yes, coincidentally, all of her favorite male characters wear glasses.)

She occasionally enjoy yaoi stuff due to the influence of a particular friend and she doesn't really mind yuri stuff either. (She does feel a bit uncomfortable when reading those stuff but there is a huge improvement from the time she totally despise those stuff. Yes, totally.) She is called by some friends to be a fujoshi, though she doesn't really like that term that much as compared to otaku. Maybe she will marry a fudanshi next time? (Oh wait, that doesn't fit into her type. Zero chance.)

So what else? I am also a pasokon otaku, as said by some friends but I think I really am more of a Apple fanatic. I hate Windows and live purely on my precious MacBook which under some corrupted software and a basin of water, been sent for repairs seven times if I remember it right. Oh and once was due to overloading my MacBook with too many items. I swore that I won't change the blog skin for this blog for another year after my last attempt to modify the template by combining the elements of another template. The end result is the blog you see here. (Edit: Windows hate me. It always crash under my touch so if I ever use your computer and it crash in under ten minutes, blame in on Windows, not me. Don't say I never warn you.)

Alright, moving on. I don't particularly enjoy singing or dancing, both in which I will attempt to avoid if possible, especially in front of a large audience. (To date, I have no idea why I developed stage fright as I used to enjoy the stage and audiences as a kid.) I do have a idol I adore and think of him as god. I shall dedicate the next paragraph to talking all about him so let me finish up this paragraph. I normally listen to Japanese songs and occasionally English songs. Chinese songs are rare on my MacBook, really rare. The few songs I kept are the ones I actually got addicted to in the past, back when I still haven't gotten my MacBook and is still a noob to the world of music. Music was nonexistence to me during that time.

Okay, enough with the suspense. (Was there even any in the first place?) Yuya Matsushita is my one and only god in the music world. I got obsessed over his music when I heard one of his songs when googling up information on the plot of Black Butler Musical-His Butler, Friendship. 彼方へ is the song I am talking about. It is something of his voice that makes you feel very calm and relaxed, something that I never felt from any music until that fateful day. His music has quite a transition since his debut two years ago, although I still love them. Actually, I love his music more and more. Some people say he kinda looks like Se7en although I really, really disagree. (I am not a fan of any Korean stuff. Used to but just not now.) I think the only thing they have in common is that the promotional video for YOU was filmed at the same place as Se7en's Style. (That was a Japanese song, okay?) Thanks to a senpai of mine, I managed to import a lot of Yuya goods from Japan and they are now kept in my one and only neat drawer which I don't think will last very long. It is gonna overflow soon. I can't wait for his new drama to air. He is really multi-talented. Singer, actor, stage actor and maybe a voice actor someday? Hopefully. (Maybe even his own Vocaloid database? Okay, I think I may have slightly talked too much about him.) I shall end off by saying that you can listen to his music from that music player widget at the side.

I do have more to say but it seems that it will probably be endless if I continue typing. You can just get to know me more from my future posts. I guess that will serve as a better way of knowing me than just me rambling about myself. So I guess I shall see you around? Yay! Listening to 線路は走るよ６の字に～大江戸線へようこそ・都庁Ver.～ now. 出発シンコー！
